The Smile

The Smile Team started before the 2009 adiCup. Prior to being The Smile Team, we were the Earnest Sewn Team where we lost in the Semi Finals of the 2008 Adi Cup.

We just are a bunch of guys who like to play every week and now when we see each other on any pitch we are the team that enjoys playing together and having fun.

Due to our strict coaches in our past, it’s nice to play the game now where we can actually have fun playing with no pressure. We are all honored that Carlos Quirarte and Matt Kleigman, The Owners of THE SMILE who are big soccer fans and (Carlos who first gave us the opportunity when he was with Earnest Sewn) will have us represent them for THE SMILE. They are 2 GREAT GUYS with a great Cafe/Restaurant at 26 Bond St, they have the coolest staff and the best clients.

  Strengths: I met this kid on a 6v6 pitch.  he's a master on the ball.  he's quick, fast, creative and can score from anywhere on the pitch. Position: Striker

  Strengths: Chris was our keeper on the kickers when we placed second in the league my first year in new york.  He's a tall 6'5" and loves to play with his feet. always looking for the assist.  He's also a master at penalty kicks. Position: Goal Keeper

  Strengths: I'm here to help bring this team together.  let the ball run and do the work.  Tackle hard and play for my squad without ruining my hair!! Position: everywhere man

  Strengths: ex national team player / Maccabi player and shiny head member...he loves tanning in the sun, running naked with goats in the desert! Position: defence

  Strengths: lefty and fierce! plays liverpool style, circa 1976). Has the rage of a lion , and the accent of 007 .  He hasn't played in a while so keep an eye on him. never play it to his right!!!
