C.A. Real Tokyo

Hirofumi Kiyonaga (SOPH.), Asahi Ueda (formerly of Bombonera), and Tetsuo Nakanishi (soccer commentator) formed this non-professional futsal team by uniting F.C. Real Bristol and Club Atlético Bombonera.

They haven't played or practiced together much recently, so in a sense, they'll be playing on tournament day unrehearsed. However, in terms of potential, they stand out by far among the 16 teams competing this time around. In addition to experienced J-Leaguers like former Oita Trinita member Daigo Kuroishi and former F.C. Tokyo member Jun Wada, they have a good portion of veteran soccer alumni such as Hiroshi Sanpei, a player from Fukuoka High School, and Kou Araki, a player from Takushoku College Primary High School.

They’ll no doubt be demonstrating the galactic soccer that makes them the most favored team out of Group B. If they suffer a surprise defeat in the preliminaries, a penalty so harsh it would mess with their everyday lives might very well await them (assumedly).
